What are the dates and hours of the Bright Students Academy?
K-2: May 17 & 24, 2008
3-5: April 5 & 12, 2008
6-8: April 5 &12, 2008
The hours for all workshops will be 9am to 1pm each day of the workshop. The registration fee includes both days.

How do I register my child?
Please click on the registration link on the left. Print the registration form and send it with your nonrefundable deposit. The registration deadline for the 3-5 and 6-8 is March 26, 2008. The registration deadline for the K-2 workshop is May 1, 2008.

Is there late registration?
If you would like to register your child after the deadline, you must contact Christina Ragain at 903-566-7137 or cragain@uttyler.edu. Slots given on availability.

Where is the Bright Students Academy held?
TBA. The building and room number will be included in the parent packet.

How much does the workshop cost?
The cost per child is $50. The camp fee is due at time of registration. The registration fee includes both workshop days.

What should my child wear to the camp?
Your child should wear long pants and closed shoes that cover his/her entire legs and feet. Students who will be performing science experiments will be provided gloves, goggles and aprons for use during the workshop.

Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is only refundable if the minimum of 10 students is not met.

How Do I sponsor a child?
Fill out the Sponsor Form and send it in with your sponsorship check payable to UT Tyler Department of Chemistry. Click the link for form.
